Patrick Clifford sent me this in order to work on set 1 of the black and white video that was done by BHP in 2005. The following changes were made to set 1 to match the video:
1) First 1 minute 11.956 seconds that is the lead into Sugaree used the audio that came with the video as it was better than the audience splice from the sbd source.
This portion of the audio was normalized to blend in better.
2) Between Sugaree and Minglewood, 1 minute 52.707 seconds was missing from the soundboard source and filled in with audio from the original video soundtrack. This portion of the audio was normalized to blend in better.
3) Between Minglewood and Row Jimmy, 1 minute 24 seconds of video was missing that was filled by using graphics and audio source. This is part of 6 minute break between songs where Phil left the stage.
3) Between Big River and Loser, part of the video was missing - on all 3 audio sources I looked at, this part of the show was also missing so I was unable to fill in properly. When the video started again, the first 20 seconds was missing from the soundboard source and filled in with audio from the original video soundtrack. This portion of the audio was normalized to blend in better.
4) Between Loser and Looks Like Rain, part of the video was missing - on all 3 audio sources I looked at, this part of the show was also missing so I was unable to fill in properly. When the video started again, the first 1 minute 8 seconds was missing from the soundboard source and filled in with audio from the original video soundtrack. This portion of the audio was normalized to blend in better.
5) Between They Love Each Other and Music Never Stopped, 53.124 seconds were missing from the soundboard source and filled in with audio from the original video soundtrack. This portion of the audio was normalized to blend in better.

Great Phil experience
I love the sound of this show. I know Phil's way up in the mix.....and I really love it.
I don't like to go song by song, so suffice it to say that this is a wonderful show from my 3rd favorite year.

pretty laid back show here, in line with how much of early 76 sounds, the scarlet is longer than usual nice loose jam going on
help slip frank is good, lil china cat jam going on around the 4 minute mark in frank by bobby in there sounds cool, i dig it
love the whole second set, great run to start it off, the nfa was really chilled out and good close out

Phil fans rejoice!
This has always been one of my favorite shows of '76, and one of the biggest reasons is that Phil is so up front in the mix, it really adds a different dimension to the band's sound. Phil's bass dominates throughout, turning songs like Help on the Way and The Other One, and pretty much every song, into absolute roof-shakers. Jerry's guitar is almost in the background the entire show, normally a bad thing, but not here. Phil is the lead player today.
I wonder if this is what it sounded like in the audience that day, or just how it was recorded to tape? Either way, great performance all-around, definitely a keeper. Very laid back vibe overall, yet hard not to get your groove on to. And I'm definitely not one to shake my booty, so I think I'll just bob my head.
Also, this version is a major upgrade to all previous sources I've heard.
Overall, not quite on the level of 6/14, 6/29, 9/27, 10/9, and 12/31, imo, but definitely worth a listen, if only for the extremely unique mix.

Like the other SB, but no hiss and Phil sounds even better
This is the best of the three recordings on this site. Charlie Miller has done it once again. Many wampums chief.
Oh did I mention this show smokes

A good year for the live stuff
I'm a big fan of the live GD recordings from the 70's, esp. 1977.
This is one of the best live recordings i heard in a while, considering it's audio is from a video. Every song is a gem on this. One of the better versions of Help, Slip and Franklin.
